The USJR RFMP team has prepared a draft white paper on USJR multi-benefit opportunities and performance tracking. This white paper provides additional information about the current multi-benefit flood project opportunities in the USJR RFMP. It identifies the current status of identified flood protection projects that include multi-benefit opportunities and provides recommendations for facilitating the development and enhancement of multi-benefit projects.

The RFMP team invites interested parties to review the draft and provide comments/feedback to [email protected].

About Us

The San Joaquin River Flood Control Project Agency is a joint powers authority formed to lead the Regional Flood Management Plan (RFMP) and represent local interests. The Agency is composed of the Lower San Joaquin Levee District and the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority, with auditor/controller services provided by Merced County.

Latest Update

On April 17, 2024, USJR RFMP hosted a stakeholder workshop at Henry Miller Reclamation District. To view the presentation and meeting notes, please visit Meetings.

On December 16, 2022, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board adopted the 2022 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP) Update. The final plan, comment logs, and errata are available on DWR's website.
